The Society has been running monthly online competitions since August 2020 as an alternative means of maintaining contact with members during the Covid restrictions. So far more than 60 competitions have been run with over 1,000 entries from both members and visitors. Prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third places. All members and non-members are invited to join in.
The December competition was the Christmas table decoration with a “candle” theme that members created at our December meeting. Members provided (mostly) their own vegetation and accessories to create some well-crafted exhibits. The January Competition is in the Photograph category under the theme of a “Winter Sky”. Suggestions for entries could be photographs taken at dawn, dusk, clouds or any other feature related to the sky on a winter day/night.
